Call for Unity in the Aftermath of the Racially-Motivated Murders in Buffalo
May 19, 2022The National Human Services Assembly is deeply saddened by the recent racially-motivated mass shooting in Buffalo, New York that killed ten people and injured three others. While we grieve with all the families and communities affected, we also send our thoughts to all the first responders, and healthcare and human service professionals who continue to provide leadership and relief throughout the region. The National Assembly and its members remain committed to fostering an inclusive platform for the courageous conversations and strategies needed for eliminating this plague of hate, extremism and senseless violence that is afflicting our nation. We hope you will join us in urging for unity while we navigate through another difficult process of healing.
