Including Nonprofits in a COVID-19 Relief and Economic Stimulus Package

This week, the National Assembly signed on to a very important community letter and effort led by the National Council of Nonprofits to include nonprofits in the COVID-19 relief package. The letter makes a case for the nonprofit sector as the third largest workforce comprised of entities of all sizes, including thousands of small businesses, all feeling the impact of the virus mitigation efforts. Not only that, but almost all nonprofits are providing frontline relief, resources, and education to the public in local communities.
