Join the Effort to Preserve Afterschool Funding

The Afterschool Alliance is asking for organizations to join a sign-on lettercalling for funding of $1.3 billion for 21st Century Community Learning Centers within the FY19 House and Senate spending bills, and for the subcommittees to finish up FY18. With the President’s FY19 budget proposal once again calling for the elimination of afterschool funding for 1.7 million students, it is time to again send a strong message to the House and Senate Appropriations subcommittees in support of afterschool and 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
